It's a green Samsung s630. It's not a particularly spectacular piece of machinery, but it will serve my purpose: taking pictures of my animals (I have very few pictures of myself or any other people - just the fluffy guys!). Where I work we get "Bravo" points when we exceed our sales goals or provide some fantastic customer service. We can use the points to "buy" various things, similar to a reward miles program. I almost blew my points on gift certificates and DVD box sets when I kinda/sorta quit after Christmas - I'm glad now that I didn't! I've really been wanting a camera lately, and then this one showed up at an affordable "price"!So, here are the first day's pictures!:
First picture, little Jack Daniels, looking like a scraggy ragamuffin as usual!
Jack chilling on the deck after a rousing game of "Hose". Both dogs love it - it's also known as "spray dogs with water while they run around trying to drink it".
This is Remy, mid-pivot. He's chasing Jack around.... the little guy runs around like a maniac when he gets wet.
This is Rocky, our house guest. We found him sleeping in our tree today. Being the city folks we are, my family was fascinated. Look at his sweet little ears! We weren't completely sure he wasn't a cat, though.
This is later in the day (like I said, fascinated), and he's stretched out a hind foot and you can see the end of his stripy tail. I made a few clicking sounds to see if he'd look up. He didn't move... I decided not to make any other efforts to wake up him for a better picture. Didn't want to disturb him... and didn't want him to come down the tree after me (I'm clearly not a gutsy photographer, lol).
Camera, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship.
I'm just editing this to add: I got a picture of Rocky's face!
